Bridgitte Shen Lee OD

Dr. Bridgitte Shen Lee is the co-founder of Vision Optique. It is a comprehensive primary and specialty eye care practice in Houston, founded in 1999. In 2021, she created Ocular Aesthetics company to conduct FDA clinical trials in innovative products for contact lens, presbyopia solutions, ocular surface disease and myopia management.

Dr. Shen Lee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA), and the European Academy of Optometry and Optics. She lectures internationally on the topics of digital eye health, dry eye disease, ocular aesthetics, and health care social media.

Dr. Shen Lee has been selected to contribute as a sub-committee member for the next Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) Lifestyle Ocular Surface Disease Report and the BCLA CLEAR Presbyopia Report. She is serving as a Global Ambassador for both the TFOS and the BCLA.

Dr. Shen Lee is the Medical Adviser to The Vision Council and the Contact Lens Institute. She has presented at three U.S. Congressional Briefings in 2019-2020 on behalf of The Vision Council, Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (AEVR) and TFOS, helping to increase funding for the National Eye Institute (NEI).
